​Training Courses: Gas Chromatography 

Gas Chromatography (GC) is often taken for granted these days. The instruments practically run themselves. But there’s always room for improvement. At ADKL Labs we have developed two great training packages to help you and your team develop their GC skills. 

The training courses are conducted in person at our laboratory with experienced, factory-trained engineers and analysts teaching material at two levels. For beginners, we provide an Introduction to Gas Chromatography course, lasting one day and covering the below topics:

​For more experienced users, or those who have completed our beginner course and want more, ADKL Labs offers a two-day in-depth course for Advanced Techniques in Gas Chromatography / Mass Spectrometry. The advanced course uses principles and techniques covered in the beginner session and applies them real applications, complex samples and advanced analysis techniques. The advanced course covers the below topics across two days:

• Sample preparation
• Conventional vs. “Fast” GC/MS 
• Sample Introduction & Inlet Systems (Comprehensive) 
• Ionization Methods and Mass Analysers
• Application focus: GC/MS for VOC/SVOC Environmental Samples
• Application focus: Pesticide residues in Food using GC/MS/MS
• Two- dimensional Gas Chromatography
